Brad Clatt is an experienced Group Vice Experienced Group Vice President with a demonstrated history of working in the medical device industry for Dentsply Sirona, a leader in the Dental Field. Brad is skilled in Operations Management, Commercial Sales & Mktg, Strategic Planning/Execution, Financial P&L Management, Talent Development, and High Performance Leadership.

Chuck Abraham is a medical technology veteran with more than 23 years of experience with medical imaging and devices. Chuck began his career at General Electric Medical Systems where he spent 17 years in sales, product management and general management roles. His last assignment was as global business manager of the Vascular X-ray Imaging Business. He left GE to join Nellcor Puritan Bennett as vice president and general manager of their Global Sleep Solutions Business.
Before coming to OraMetrix, Chuck was chief executive officer of eMerge Interactive Inc., a company delivering technology-based food safety and livestock management solutions to the U.S. beef production industry. In 1999, he led the company to a $105 million initial public offering on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange.
Chuck received a Bachelor of Science degree in biological engineering at Mississippi State University at Starkville.

Session Description:

In this keynote address, Dr. Crutchfield will explore how SureSmile can add value to any practice on any level. About Our Speaker:

Dr. William Crutchfield holds a B.S. in Biology from Virginia Tech and a D.D.S. from the Medical College of Virginia. He also completed his orthodontic residency at the Medical College of Virginia and now practices in Chantilly, Virginia. Dr. Crutchfield is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He began offering SureSmile treatment in 2008. Since then, Orthodontics By Crutchfield is a 100 percent SureSmile practice, completing 1100 SureSmile cases.

About Our Speaker:

Dr. Bruce Goldstein is from Rochester, New York. He received his undergraduate degree, master’s degree, and orthodontic degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has earned the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and currently sits on the council of the College of the Diplomates for the American Board of Orthodontics. He is currently a Clinical Instructor in the Postgraduate Orthodontics Program at A.T. Still University – Arizona School of Dentistry. Dr. Goldstein has been practicing orthodontics in Scottsdale, Arizona since 1984. He started offering SureSmile treatment in October 2006, and has completed more than 2,500 cases.

Dr. Manish Lamichane obtained a degree in Actuarial Science and DDS from the University of Toronto in 1999, after which Dr. Lamichane completed a GPR at the Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospitals in Boston, MA. He then graduated with an MMSc in Orthodontics from Harvard University and started in private practice in Lancaster, PA in 2007. Manny teaches a case-based 3D Orthodontics course at Harvard and LOA Orthodontics has treated more than 2,400 patients with suresmile. He currently sits on the Clinical Advisory Board at OraMetrix – Dentsply Sirona Orthodontics and on the Board of Directors at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic.

About Our Speakers:
Dr. John Walker graduated from New Jersey School of Dental Medicine with his D.M.D. in 1976 and received his Certificate in Orthodontics from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 1978. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and a board-certified member of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Walker is a clinical professor of Orthodontics at Boston University and has been in private practice for 30 years in Lunenburg and Harvard MA. Dr. Walker’s practice reduces time in treatment by as much as 40% through using SureSmile’s computer-aided and robotic precision treatment.

Dr. Elizabeth Walker graduated from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University in 2006 and received her certificate in the Specialty of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University in 2010. She has completed an extensive Mini-Residency designed by her mentor Dr. Steven Olmos. TMJ and Sleep Therapy Research earning a graduate certificate in Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders & Craniofacial Pain in 2013. In 2015, she completed her Masters of Science in Dentistry at Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University.

Peter Catalano, MD, FACS, FARS graduated with a BS from Columbia University School of Engineering, followed by an MD degree from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine (MSH) in New York City. Dr. Catalano completed his Residency at MSH and became a full-time faculty member (1990-1999). Dr. Catalano then became Chair of Otolaryngology at the Lahey Clinic (2000-2009), followed by Chair of Surgery and VP of Surgical Services at Caritas/Steward Health Care (2009-2012). Dr. Catalano is now Chief of Otolaryngology at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (SEMC), Professor of Otolaryngology at Tufts University, Director of Rhinology fellowship at SEMC, and Medical Director of Research for Steward Health Care. Dr. Catalano is active academically, with more than 225 invited lectures, 24 book chapters, 90 peer-reviewed publications, and he is on the editorial board of 7 medical journals. Dr. Catalano is President and Founder of the Foundation for Innovation, Education and Research in Otolaryngology (2011-present), organizer of the annual Open Forum, and co-producer of the Fiero University broadcast channel.

Dr. Ilya Lipkin received his bachelor’s degree from New York University and his dental degree from New York University School of Dentistry. He completed his residency in orthodontics at the New York University School of Dentistry, Department of Post-Graduate Orthodontics. Dr. Lipkin is in private practice in Emerson, NJ. Dr. Lipkin has been treating lingual cases since 2001. He has been a SureSmile doctor since January 2007, and has completed more than 2,500 SureSmile cases, of which more than 500 have been lingual cases

Session Description:

With release 7.5, SureSmile continues to push the boundaries of what is possible with aligner therapy. For example, SureSmile now provides the option to automatically place aligner attachments. We also have a new toolset for blocking out severe undercuts or gaps on aligner models. Dr. Brent Bankhead consulted closely with the OraMetrix engineering team to help develop these and other new powerful aligner features, so he is the seminal expert on how they can be applied clinically. Dr. Bankhead will present an overview of these new features, review the clinical thinking that went into their design, and demonstrate how to use them to ensure successful aligner therapy.

Dr. Brent Bankhead received his BS from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, his DDS at the University of Iowa and completed his orthodontic training at Saint Louis University. He also became part of the clinical faculty at St. Louis University Center for dentistry and orthodontics in 2017. Dr. Bankhead practices with his partners in Waterloo, Columbia, Alton and Carlinville IL, as well as O’Fallon, Wentzville, Warrenton and Chesterfield, MO. He began treating SureSmile patients in November 2007. He added SureSmile Lingual in 2009 and was awarded SureSmile lingual Practice of the Year 2011.

Dr. Yusupov completed his Bachelor of Dental Science in 1989 and completed his Masters of Dental Science in 1992, both at the University of Melbourne. He has had a long-standing interest in Adult and Children’s Orthodontics, particularly in complex interdisciplinary treatments. He is a clinical board member of the Melbourne Seattle Study Club, a clinical supervisor for orthodontic post-graduate students at the University of Melbourne and is a member of the SureSmile faculty and clinical advisory board. Alex’s interest in orthodontics include 3D technology, multidisciplinary and surgical treatments, and clinical photography.
